Start your Summer Symposium experience off right by playing in the WIO Charity Networking Social & Golf Tournament on Thursday afternoon, August 7, 2025. All proceeds benefit Orbis International in support of its mission to transform lives through the prevention and treatment of curable blindness. Orbis recognizes the disproportional effect of blindness on women and girls and is committed to alleviating the unequal impact of blindness across communities. WIO stands with Orbis in this initiative, and we are hoping to help by making a large contribution to their efforts this year!
The Golf Club of Amelia Island, FL is a beautiful 18-hole championship golf course designed by PGA Tour veteran Mark McCumber and golf legend Gene Littler. The Amelia Island golf course offers challenging yet fun play with strategically placed bunkers and shifting ocean breezes and is lush and meticulously maintained.
All levels are welcome! In fact, we highly encourage first time players! We want to provide a comfortable environment in which you can try the sport and see if you like it. Many business deals are made on the golf course, and we want women there!
