Women in Ophthalmology (WIO) is committed to providing opportunities for the next generation of women ophthalmologists.

WIO is proud to offer the following scholarships:

WIO Access to Ophthalmology Scholarship

WIO has established a scholarship for women wo are under-represented in medicine (URiM) ophthalmology residents to attend our Summer Symposium. This scholarship includes complimentary Summer Symposium registration and a monetary stipend toward travel/lodging expenses. Applicants must be current WIO members. A one-page personal statement and CV are required for consideration.
